PostSubject: Embellishment Overload!   February 5th 2011, 01:35

after 9 straight days of being sicker than a dog with bronchitis, fever, chills, body aches, and stomach issues, today i finally felt 1/2 human again....{crossing my fingers i'll soon be 100% again}

i took advantage of my new 1/2 human self, and went to my scrapbook room and started when i left off 10 days ago with the purging and organizing.

DANG, i've got an overload of embellishments.... especially buttons and chipboard galore. i seriously think i could fill a bathtub with the buttons! crrrraaazy!

besides paper, what do you have an overload of? please tell me i'm not alone! ha!

Okay, I am not that bad withe embellishments but ONG at the paper I have, I could wall paper the entire house and I don't have a small house. I will make an on line order for some embellishments I need and I always say I am not going to buy paper but then I think well since I am making an order I might as well get this paper I like and I always seem to get at least 10 new sheets of something.

Now I do have a lot of buttons and ribbon but I use them both a lot so I don't think I have to much!

Ahh!! Chipboard - I still have drawers full of it and I haven't even bought any in the past couple of years!! Can't bear to part with it though!
I have managed to use quite a bit of ribbon recently but then I'm still buying more!

I did a purge a while back and got rid of a bunch of those Soft Spoken type embellishments. I think I had one of every one made. It was crazy. I have actually cleaned it out to where I can say I don't have too much of any particular thing. (paper maybe) But I just need to organize it all.

I still have quite a bit of chipboard but I hardly ever use it. I should just purge it but it's that "what if I will need it for that ONE project" feeling that keeps me hanging on to it.

I have sooooo much ribbon & the weird thing is, I don't use it that much! What is wrong with me? Actually, I think I hate digging through all of it to find just the right one, so it just piles up & keeps getting added to at the same time. I use an old VHS tape storage cabinet for my ribbon & it's overflowing out onto
the floor in front of it. Good Heavens!!

Besides paper I am not too bad right now. In fact I NEED some embellies. I DID have a lot of ribbon but have done a good job in recent months of using a bunch of it up on all kinds of projects from t-shirts to pillows to hanging canvases....so I'm pretty sure that means I need to get some more. I have a lot of everything, especially paper, but I also hate to get rid of anything. I also love to but everything new.

Why do they say creativity is cheaper than therapy? I disagree!
