amy, in both the den and the foyer i want to add that white wall board stuff {Smile i know there's a real name to it but can't remember what it is} that is about 6' tall. i love that look.

i have no idea what color i want the kitchen. it is green right now ... i love it but it's time for another paint job.

oh, I LOVE the BeadBoard look! I'd love to remodel our bathrooms with that stuff. What are yours colors in the other rooms that would flow to the kitchen? You thinking of going more neutral tones or bright colors?

I love remodeling! It's so much fun and so exciting! I will have to live vicariously through you though since we are P.O.O.R now that baby is on way. lol!

I love that white board stuff! Last year my friend and I replaced the flooring with wood. It was a lot of work but well worth it!

ellen, our bathrooms turned out so cool ... you have a good memory!

renee, i'm all about the earthy, neutral tones. the den, kitchen and foyer all 3 flow into the family room, which is chocolate brown/green/khaki combo.

luckily my hubby is a great handy man and we do most of our remodeling ourselves.

I remember you doing the bathroom too. Didn't you put some houndstooth in there? I think that is when you became mildly "obsessed" with houndstooth right? bwahahahaha

*swoon* the color pallete of your home sounds beautiful! you could always pump up some color by doing a reddish color in the kitchen.........

I can't wait to see the pictures! And if he ever gets bored, I have a huge bathroom remodel I could use him on! Want to come to Mississippi? lol!

yeah, that's probably about the time i became obsessed with houndstooth. Smile

the boys old bathroom {now our guest bathroom} has wallpaper with a tiny textured khaki/cream houndstooth pattern in it.

Have fun!

We need to do a ton of painting here at our house too! As soon as the nice Spring weather hits and plans to stick around, I plan on getting it all started. We plan to paint most of our main floor (kitchen, living room, hallway and laundry area) and we also desperately need to paint the basement (including my scrap area). Yea, lots to paint!

You were setting a trend and didn't know it! That pattern has really exploded the last year or so. Or so it seems anyway!
