PostSubject: Scraobook yard sale question   April 12th 2011, 13:08

So, I am going through my stuff for the scrapbook yard sale... question of the day... do I keep my Quickutz dies or sell them? I do not think I have used them in like 5 years... and if you think I should sell them.. does $15 - $20 per alpha seem good?

Also I have the Quickutz Revolution and Sizzix Texture Boutique (never been used) that I will be selling too..

Does $40 for the Quickutz Revolution sound fair

and $20 for the Sizzix Texture boutique?

Thanks

Kathleen

I have gotten brutal with my yard sale selling lol. This last time I sold my cricut. I NEVER use it. It was collecting dust and I'd rather have a credit for new stuff than a dust bunny. So I say if you haven't used it in years I'd sell it. As for pricing I usually see the lowest price it is offered for new and then reduce from there depending on condition. I don't price too low and I usually sell everything.

i sold my QK tool at my garage sale a couple years ago ... i think it went for $25. i can't remember what i sold the alphas for but i do remember they weren't terribly low, and i did sell them all.

i'm gathering stuff for our memorial day weekend garage sale. i thought about selling my sizzix, then i got it out last week and used it almost everyday so i'm deciding to keep it. Smile

good luck on your sale!!!

I say sell if you aren't using as well. Pricing I say price to sell as well. What I tend to do is look on ebay to see what things are price at for buy it nows. You can't look at auctions because you don't know how they will end unless you follow a few of them.

I just looked at ebay and they really aren't going for much. 2 have buy it nows for 24.99 and none of them have any bids. So if you get a serious looker you may want to consider dropping the price a bit while they are they to get them to take it home.
