for Easter baskets. Smile
i still make baskets for my grown boys {and now my daughter in law}

the baskets are a little different of course. Smile
they are filled with coffee and tea, and a gift card to a place they are into right now {hardware store for the married son who is buying a house}. i throw in a couple of their fav candy or snack food.

the 'baskets' are different too.
for the boys i'm using storage containers ... the college son can reuse it for his pottery stuff, the married son can use it in his garage for storage coz he's an organized nut.
my daughter in law's basket is a fun purse i found at target.

my rule is, until they have kids of their own, they'll still get a basket from me. i love doing it!

So i just got back from running to Walmart, trying not to look like a crazy person
as I am trying to find something for them.

That's great Carrie! Yea, my mom still always has something for me too, and my gram always gives some money.

Too funny, Norma about rushing around Wal-Mart!

Smile norma, i'm sitting here imagining you rushing around in walmart looking for basket fillers. it must have been a zoo in there wasn't it? i drove by our walmart and the parking lot was packed.

i think my boys are a little surprised that i keep makin' them baskets ... but i think they secretly love it. Smile

Carrie, I love that you still give baskets to your boys/men!

Norma, I'm so glad you were able to make it happen for your boys!

My son is 10 and,of course, knows who the real bunny is, but the last thing he said last night when going to bed is, "I hope the Easter Bunny comes tomorrow!" Heart U

since my girlio gets at least 3 Easter egg hunts every year (military one, one at church, and ours), I figure that's enough candy and she doesn't need any more, so I just wrap up a few small presents for her. I even re-use the eggs from the first two for the third hunt. Smile

I have lost count of how many times today I have hidden the eggs again for her to find. We take turns-she hides them for me (and then points out where they are), and then I hide them for her. I think I am running out of new places to hide them! Smile
