it's a neat story, Carrie

Brian's Pap did all the sewing. He was a tailor in the Navy (he was at Pearl Harbor and floated on a mattress until he was rescued)

So we have his sewing machine and all of his old thread and some fabric. The machine doesn't work (the tension needs to be looked at).

Isn't that cool? It is covered right now to keep it clean, I need to snap a photo and document that story.

That is so cool! And how neat to be able to use spools that have history in your family!

I know! He was a milkman, too. He was the CUTEST bugger ever. Willie the Milkman who listened to Polkas. When we were doing names for Henry, I suggest Will after his Pap but we both fell in love with Henry, and well, I do laugh b/c he would have made a good Willie, too, LOL!

Joyce, it's a Singer. It is in my scraproom in the chest (it's one of those that folds down into the the chest)
