PostSubject: Yogurt   May 11th 2011, 10:56

So my doc told me I need to watch my weight better.......I guess all my ice cream cravings haven't been as nice to me as I thought. It's wreaking havoc on the scale. so anyway, I've been trying to replace that craving with yogurt.

So far my favorite is the Yoplait light - banana cream pie. I'm not a lemon or lime person but do y'all have any you like that I should try???

hmmm......if you like the banana cream flavor, you might like the flavors of the Yoplait light my hubby is addicted to....red velvet cake, carrot cake, and the cheesecake ones.

my fav is cherry flavor. i add kashi granola cereal to my yogurt.

A GREAT substitute for ice cream is to buy those Yoplait yogurt Whips. You put them in the freezer, and when you eat them, they taste like ice cream. They have at least 3 flavors that I know of. Even my kids love them.

yummmm.... Carrie! I bet I would love the carrot cake and red velvet! I haven't even seen those!

And Ellen - I have always been afraid of the Greek yogurt but I may just have to try it. I have thought about doing the fudge pops but I don't just have "one". LOL so I thought it may be best to just get all the temptation out of the house all together.

At least yogurt has good probiotics too. lol!

Rachel! that's a great idea! I need to try that too!

love the banana cream flavor! I didn't know they made red velvet. Going to have to look for that today at the store. I tried the Greek yogurt once and didn't really like it. Too tart.

Wegmans has a low fat Ice Cream (lightly churned) that isn't too bad in calories. Their Brownie one is yummy! Its about 140 calories and 3.5 grams of fat.
