PostSubject: 5-12 Challenge   May 13th 2011, 12:18

First off, I'm a goober!!! LOL. I'm sorry I missed posting the challenge yesterday! I'm up to my eyeballs in moving right now and it totally slipped my mind! (Thanks for the reminder Carrie).

So, here's my challenge layout:

Wanna know the challenge part? (hee hee) Here it is:

1. Create a layout using a color combination that is not one you typically use or gravitate to. For me, it's the green and yellow combo. I like yellow, but I am not a green person at all, let alone, those two colors together.

2. On the same layout, use a circular effect for your title. I think this is the first layout I have ever done (that I can remember) using a circular title. I see it done a lot, but just never tried it.

That's it!!! Easy peasy but I know both things may be out of the box for some of us (it was for me!). Can't wait to see what you create!

When you're done, post it here in this thread. Just a reminder, for those who participate, your name will go in a random drawing for the month and you could win some goodies!

LOVE that layout--the colors are gorgeous and the close up shot of the flower in her hand is so sweet.

Thanks Rebecca! That is my niece....she is so funny because she is such a tomboy! My sister was laughing because here you have Brooklin all dressed up for Easter looking so girly, then you see that cute picture of her with the flower in her hand with dirt in her fingernails! She had been digging in the dirt! LOL

Such a sweet layout! I'm not sure I can actually do a layout without aqua and orange, but I'll give it a try! lol

So I have the most trouble with purple and of course my DD LOVES to wear purple. So here is my purple layout with a circular title treatment Wink (I based it on an Elle's Studio sketch)
