My son is attending a day camp and a girl that he met during snack time yesterday asked for his number?! Really? He is so full of himself, it's cracking me up! Of course he doesn't have a phone so he is giving her my number -- this should be interesting! I'm not ready for this, he's only 10!!!

Oh my word! Are you kidding me? As cute as that is, these kids are getting into that younger and younger. I mean I know they can't date or anything like that but what ever happened to "Ewe, boys are gross!". That's what I remember at 10 years old! I'm giving my age away again aren't I? LOL

I bet your son is loving it though!

I know what you mean, I was seriously shocked. I do think she has an older sister, but still...
If she only knew that he still likes to sleep with his Webkinz stuffed animals! lol

omg Sherry, this cracks me up because I have an 11 year old who is in this phase too !

The other day he went to the Railcats Baseball Game (local team) and a girl approached him and told him she thought he was cute. He walked around with a big o'head all night. I also think these girls are getting brave. No way in hell at that age would I have approached a boy to tell them they were cute or to exchange numbers. lol

Norma, You're so right, I can't imagine asking for a boy's number at that age!

Joyce, She hasn't called or sent a text yet, so maybe she is a lady! lol

I'm pretty sure she wasn't yours! lol I do remember being a little boy crazy, but we didn't have texting and cell phones at our disposal (thank God!)

She-Ra... now there's a blast from the past!

That is to cute, my 14 year old is to shy to ask for a guys number so this little girl must be bold. Of course Sydney (6) has a boy friend and yes she goes and does stuff with him like movies and bowling, at that age its more like a best friend thing. But Kristin can't believe that her little sister has a boyfriend and she doesn't.

That's funny! My dd couldn't comprehend someone wanting her brother's number, the look on her face was priceless!

oh sherry that is hysterical. I only have two years left! LOL!

We were just talking about fast kids grow up and this cell phone thing isn't helping.

It's cute that they get so proud of it! Boys will be boys....and that's what's scary! lol!

OMG that is too funny. My 11 year old is starting to notice the girls too BUT I have to agree that the girls are far more assertive than the boys nowadays...which is scary since I have an 8 year old daughter.
