Does your menu planning change with the seasons?

I am asking because we are doing chili this week and some other stuff that we don't eat during the summer. It's funny b/c we grill like mad in the summer (we do in the winter, too, but not as much) and it just seems as if our diets change a bit once winter comes.

Definitely, we tend to have a lot more soup and baked goodies in the cooler seasons!

Definitely we do more soup and grilled cheese or chilli in the winter. But actually for us we grill more in the winter than the summer because DH convinced me that it is completely irrational of me to expect him to stand over a grill in 115 degree heat lol.

Mmmmm, grilled cheese. I haven't had one of those in forever!

We really don't change, except I tend to use the grill in the summer more and the crock pot for soups in the winter.

We grill a lot in the summer and eat way more salads. In the winter I make a lot of soups and casseroles. For some reason I've never got into using a slow cooker. I really should haul mine out - if I could find it!

Yes, we definitely do more chili and soup in the Fall and winter. We still grill out, though, unless it's just terribly cold.
