PostSubject: cricut question   October 28th 2011, 13:50

I listed my Cricut and all my acessories on Craigslist yesterday. I'm not sure how much I should ask. I posted the ad telling people to make an offer but I have no idea how much it is worth. Any ideas?
Here's the ad:
Cricut Expression(with owners manual), Gypsy (with owners manual and box), and TONS of cartridges. It also comes with a deep cut blade housing and 2 brand new deep cut blades, 5 Cricut pens, 2 12x24 cutting mats (like new), 1 12x12 cutting mat (new), and 1 new blade. To make an offer call or text 208--681---4847
Here is a list of the cartridges: (They have all been linked to the Gypsy)

I don't think you'll have any trouble reaching your goal with all those carts!

I didn't think so but I'm having a hard time finding someone that wants the whole bundle. Everyone just wants part of it...the problem is that all the carts are linked to the gypsy Sad

You could try ebay and set a minimum price.

I'm going to try ebay next. I tried Craigslist first because I don't want to mess with shipping.

Wow! That's quite a bundle! I would have no idea what to ask either!

My plan is to get a Cameo too. I have a practically brand new Cricut Expression that I've honestly hardly used. It was always just too big of a pain to pull it out and set it up when I wanted to use it. Now that I have a room to myself, I'd like to have the Cameo....seems much more user friendly!

Good luck on your sale!

I really would not know how to price all that either... it's alot! Definitely worth a lot more than people would probably be willing to pay for that large of a bundle! Good luck with selling it though!

Take it from someone who lost a bundle (no pun intended, lol!) when I bundled all of my quickutz fonts, tools, etc. all into one listing on ebay -- you could get a WHOLE lot more money if you listed each cartridge individually. When I met the lady who purchased it all, who ironically lived in my town, she seemed apologetic and almost embarrassed when she paid me. She said she sold things on ebay frequently, and was going to go home and list each font separately, and make a hefty profit. She said this is how she pays for her scrapbooking hobby. (Made me feel GREEEAAAAAT!) I know it's a lot more work for you, but it could really pay off -- esp. with this number of cartridges! Good luck!

EEkkk...That's terrible, sorry!

I thought about selling everything individually but I was worried about that because they are all linked to the Gypsy.

Yeah, you could sell the carts individually and just state that they can no longer be linked to another Gypsy. I just don't think you will do well in selling them bundled together.

As for me... looks like I'll be selling one of my Expressions now too!
I just ordered my Expression 2 today! Yippeee!

Oh yeah, I've had the Gypsy... I bought mine the first day it debuted, lol! I haven't really used it much though... believe I actually have used Design Studio more. I still need to get myself acquainted with the Cricut Craft Room now.
