| Dh is outside watering the gardens so I just walked out there in my bare feet to talk to him. The heated weather with no rain has really done the grass in! It hurt sooo bad walking through the grass... I mean OUCH!! It's like straw everywhere... no more pretty green grass blades!  We really need rain bad here in PA! |

| IT is exactly the same way in NC...it is terrible..we could really use some rain too! |

| The new plants on the front bank are fried, I gave up on them. But turned the sprinklers on the plants in the front of the house. We have a spot that we planted new grass and I think we will need to replant in the fall. |

| it is bad. i sure hope we get the rain like they are calling for this weekend or we are going to be in a drought, i am sure of it. i try to water, too but i want to conserve so i am just doing the stuff in the pots since we put a lot of money in that the good thing is...we don't have to mow!!!  |

| oh man! Ya'll can have some of our rain! I swear it rains every other day here. Sometimes I don't mind but it's hard not letting your crazy 2 yr old outside every day.

| that hard crunchy grass reminds me of when my boys were little .... one summer it was really dry ... i looked out the kitchen window and my oldest son, who was then 7 was pouring a glass of water on the grass by the swingset ... he was explaining to his 3 year brother that he was "helping" God feed the grass. heehee!! |
